New Jersey General Assembly issues resolution on March 31 – the Day of Azerbaijani Genocide
New Jersey General Assembly issued a commemorative resolution that recognizes March 31 as Azerbaijani Remembrance Day marking the 95th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Genocide, APA reports quoting The Azeri Tribune.
The resolution signed by the NJ Assembly Speaker was personally presented by State Assemblyman and Deputy Democratic Majority Leader, Thomas P. Giblin (D-NJ) to the President of Azerbaijan Society of America (ASA), Tomris Azeri.
The resolution highlights that the genocide of March 1918, in which more than 20,000 innocent Azerbaijani people lost their lives was an event that represents one of the most condemnable atrocities in the history of the world.
In March 2012, New York became the first state ever to recognize Azerbaijani Genocide at a legislative level by Senate Resolution 3784 that designated March 31 as the Azerbaijani Remembrance Day. Ahead of the 95th anniversary and beyond, the Pax Turcica Institute will continue its efforts raising awareness and seeking recognition of the Azerbaijani Genocide.

He promoted the Azerbaijani musical art in the Soviets and in the world. In those years, art, music, and literature were the only tools promoting our nation in the world. Because Azerbaijan was not independent and our outstanding artists created the idea about the people and Azerbaijan in the world and Soviets. Bulbul has a great role in this direction. "

Azerbaijan marks 21st anniversary of independence
21 years have passed since the restoration of state independence of Azerbaijan today. Azerbaijan’s Supreme Council adopted the Constitutional Act on State Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 18, 1991, APA reports.
The document reads that basing on the Declaration of Independence adopted by the Azerbaijan’s National Council on May 28, 1918 and on the democratic principles and traditions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and following the Declaration adopted by the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan on August 30, 1991, the Supreme Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan adopts this Constitutional Act and institutes the basic principles of the state, political and economic structure of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan.
Rules on entering of children the state kindergartens changed
First of all, the children of participants and disabled persons of Karabagh war, fathers in military service and jobless parents must be received for state kindergartens, this was planned at the “exemplary regulation for preschool education”, affirmed by the Cabinet of Ministers.

About 300 children stand in line for heart surgery in Azerbaijan
About 300 children stand in line for heart surgery in Azerbaijan, Elsavar Aghayev the Deputy Health Minister of Azerbaijan told journalists, APA reports.
According to the Deputy Minister, the Surgery Center for Children was established 3 years ago under Scientific Surgery Center, on the basis of financial means allocated from the President’s reserve fund. 250 children have been undergone heart surgery. 300 children are expected to undergone surgery within a year.
