The school was founded in 1961. The Sportsmen are trained according to the following kinds of sport:

-          Judo

-          Free-style wrestling

-          Athletics

-          Football

Every year more than 700 young sportsmen are cultivated in 62 groups according to these kinds of sport. In 2010-2011 the Children –Youth Sport School of Khachmaz City gained much success, athletes and wrestlers especially distinguished.

-                      Ayatova Shabnam Omar gizi – I place, the Republican Championship of girls on track and field athletics on long jump.

-                      Panahov Fuad Niyazi oglu – I place, and Javadov Novruz Vahid oglu – II place among the boys on running.

-                      Aliyev Vahid Vugar oglu – I place, 42 kg weight category on free-style wrestling in the championship of “Education” Republican Sport Centre on free-style wrestling.
